Every two years since 1993, Yamin Yamin of Illinois has surveyed Championship-level players and tournament directors around the world. They are asked to rank the best players in the world, based on their active involvement with backgammon and their performance over the past two years. This list is called The Giants of Backgammon.
Well our Bone Club's Pros had an incredible result. Lancashire's finest Oliver Jackpot Squire came in at GIANT position 10!!! That is the best 10 players in the world. Some acheivement for such a young fella. The future is certainly bright for this maestro.
Then if that wasn't good enough, Bone Club's other PRO, Sebastian Wilkinson improved his 2022 ranking to GIANT position 8!!! Unbelieveable performance.
We can't wait to see what these two are going to achive in the next 2 years. They are both on the up and we couldn't be prouder. We wish them both the best of luck in the future.
